Capo and Co: Reviews & Ratings
First time back in a while and will definitely return!! I am an espresso martini connoisseur, and these were some of the most delicious espresso martinis I’ve had in a while, and they had a beautiful flower pattern in the foam. The bartenders were spot on and one even crafted me a pomegranate martini. The food was exceptional. Got the maid man pizza. So good. Decent selection of wines. I was here with a group of people and lots of food was ordered with people grabbing bites here and there and everything was delicious.
After arriving, we were seated promptly with plenty of seating available for a Friday night. We were greeted by our waitress shortly, which took our drink orders. I got a Cucumber Gimlet, and my wife got a seasonal Spiced Apple Mule. The drinks came out quickly and were good and strong. The menu was quite large and hard to pick as a lot of it sounded good. We got Clams Casino as an app and a short rib French onion soup. Both were quite good. For entrees, I got the El Cubano sandwich with fries, and my wife ordered Shrimp Di Friavolo. I'm not sure that's how it's spelled. We were very impressed with the pasta dish. It was a very large portion that could've fed 2 people. It had plenty of large shrimp and coarse ingredients like tomatoes, roasted garlic cloves, pearl onions, and mushrooms. It was spicy but not overwhelming. My El Cubano sandwich was quite plain tasting and dry. Not much of seasoning and underwhelming. We were so full but wanted a dessert also. We ordered the Creme Brulee. It was supposed to come with fresh berries but instead had whipped cream on top. It was very good and a nice crunchy caramelized top on it. Our waitress was very attentive for the first half of our meal. Asking how everything was before we barely got a bite in. As the dinner wore on, check-ins became less and less and were never offered another drink. I thought it was a bit odd since drinks seem to be something that is usually asked frequently. We did ask for another drink with desert. I got Zest Appeal, which is a take on gin and tonic, and my wife got Peachy Qween, which is a mule. Overall, it was a good dining experience. We enjoyed the drinks, which were reasonably priced and strong. All of the food except the sandwich was very good and authentic. Because we were never offered another drink and the lack of wow from the sandwich, I gave it a 4 out of 5. We will definitely dine here again.
1st time visit. Really liked the decor, there is a separate bar area. Food was excellent had a byo burger, Reuben sandwich, and taco salad. Pricing was competitive. Service was excellent. Went for lunch want to crowded so food camr fast. Will return
First time here at Capo and Co, and they did not disappoint! The atmosphere, ambiance was great, it felt welcoming and cozy but yet upscale. We made a timed reservation online beforehand. Our server Jackie was attentive, and her customer service skills were excellent ! Thank you Jackie; you are awesome The food was reasonably priced and better yet very very delicious! Cooked to perfection and so tasty, my wife got the Bada Bing Fish Tacos and I ordered the combo sliders. Our friend ordered a medium rare steak and it was cooked perfectly. Or other friends said it was the best scallops with risotto she ever had. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and great service, some places lack one or the other, but at Capo we experienced both! We will definitely be back again! Definitely worth coming here in my opinion.
An amazing atmosphere with a VERY cool Speakeasy vibe in the back. I came for dinner and stayed for drinks and the bar. Live music on Saturdays will have me back regularly!!!
My girlfriend and I had an amazing experience at Capo & Co Restaurant. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and the food was absolutely incredible. Everything we ordered was full of flavor and clearly made with care. What really made the night stand out though was our waiter, Grace. She was hands down the best waitress we’ve ever had—super friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel taken care of the entire time. She gave great recommendations and made the whole experience even better. Between the fantastic food, great atmosphere, and exceptional service from Grace, this was easily one of the best dining experiences we’ve had. We’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!
We came in for one happy hour drink, and had so much fun we closed out the bar. Ken and Grace were our bartenders and made the experience so much fun, we couldn’t leave. He even indulged all our requests to have pictures put on our martinis and beers. The food was delicious, too. Definitely will be back!
Last Sunday we went here for lunch and had a delightful experience. Aurora was our server and was so sweet. She is the daughter of the Chef and their family has recently moved here from Sicily. We were able to meet her father as well to let him know how wonderful everything was! Chef’s Kiss! My husband had the Eggplant Rollatini with Papardelle and it was superb. Mind you, my husband is an Italian from the Bronx so he knows his cultural food! I had the Enormous meatball trio with fresh homemade ricotta and pesto! Wow! Wow! Wow! Of course I couldn’t even finish one but we were more than happy to have leftovers! We also split the Calamari as an appetizer and it too was delicious! My husband took a bread pudding home for a later dessert and he said it was the best he had ever had. It was made by Aurora’s mother. We will definitely be back, at least for the Italian fare. Don’t know about the other selections, but we were certainly satisfied. Thanks again for such a great experience!
